DPS uses one of, if not the longest shooting ranges in the state of Mississippi. The range is 1500 yds long and 330 yds wide. This length gives us more flexibility than any other school in that we can provide shooting practice at all distances. On the north end of the range is our technical shooting platform which has individual stalls for 6 shooters and 6 spotters and the "Krowz Nest" observation deck. The roof that blocks the sun & rain is certainly a luxury. A "full" class only consists of 10 shooters and the curriculum is taught by certified instructors. We have known Jim Brown for several years and feel certain you will share our belief that he is the best firearms instructor around. Our first class was held October 3rd, 2015.
